After the last year of increased screen time, scrolling TikTok incessantly and honing-in on our social media strategies, many business owners are finding themselves wanting to take a step back from selling on social and increasing shop sales in other ways. If you relate, we have 3 tips that could help.
1. Pop-Up Shops
Many cities are reopening their pop-up shops and farmers markets + to that we say a wildly enthusiastic, âHooray!â Look into opportunities local to you, load up your car with summertime products and get to selling â face to face this time.
2. Postcards and Flyers, Oh My!
Pin postcards or flyers up in local hotspots with a special attached to them. One idea we recently heard was creating âMark Down Mondaysâ where the shop takes a percentage off of all items to bring people inn the door. You could also have a scannable QR code that brings folks to a shoppable link if that suits you better.
3. Partner Up
We love few things more than seeing powerful business owners come together and do their thing + thatâs why we saved our favorite idea for last. Love a coffee shop in your town and notice they donât sell mugs? Why not approach them about selling yours in store? Canât get enough of a boutique but notice they donât have too many aprons or those earrings that sell like hotcakes? Ask if theyâd be interested in carrying some of your product line. More often than not, people love this.
